James Ryan, President and CEO, acquired the core businesses to form 20/20 Promotions in 2006. His vision was to create a new breed of marketing agency built upon innovation, speed and an uncompromising focus on customer value. 20/20 allows him the ability to have “hands on” involvement with many of the customer strategies that the agency develops. He is a champion of technology and measurement, believing that the next generation of success in marketing will be driven blending relevant customer knowledge with business excellence to drive dramatic growth and profitability. He authored the concepts of “authentic loyalty” and the relationship marketing model.
As President and CEO of Carlson Marketing for 10 years, Mr. Ryan guided the strategic business direction of the world's leading Relationship Marketing agency. Under his leadership, Carlson Marketing boasted international capabilities that spanned 19 countries, and was ranked by Advertising Age magazine (May 2002) as the largest marketing services company in the U.S. Guided by Mr. Ryan, Carlson Marketing helped global Fortune 1000 clients improve their sales and profits by designing innovative marketing strategies.
Prior to joining Carlson Marketing Group in 1995, he spent five years with Moore Business Forms Inc. At Moore, he served as President of Moore Data Management Services and Moore Graphic Services; these divisions were market leaders in the areas of database publishing, on-line information services, electronic pre-press, commercial printing, and digital color printing.
Jim started his career at IBM Corporation; working 14 years in a variety of Sales and Sales Management positions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, and has completed the Senior Executive Review at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jim McCarthy
Jim McCarthy, CFO/COO, joined 20/20 Promotions in January, 2008; and is responsible for all aspects of operations; with a focus on integrating 20/20 capabilities with those of key partner Suppliers to provide seamless solutions for our Clients.
As former Vice President of Operations of Carlson Marketing Worldwide, Jim was responsible for core service and fulfillment functions. He had direct responsibility for the Operations Group; which included merchandise sourcing and fulfillment, prepaid card services, partnership marketing, contact center, and program operations.
Prior to joining Carlson Marketing Group, McCarthy worked for Moore Corporation for 18 years. At Moore, he was VP Finance of Moore Graphic Services and Operations Director of Moore Data Management Services; and developed expertise in database publishing, on-line information services, electronic pre-press, and all aspects of digital and offset print production.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley College and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Glenn Craft
Glenn Craft, Executive Vice President – Sales & Marketing, is responsible for developing and enhancing all client relationships at 20/20. One of Glenn’s key focal points is making certain that our organization has a full understanding of a client’s needs, objectives and strategies before we begin the program development process.
Before joining 20/20 in 2008, Glenn spent 6 years as Vice President – Sales & Marketing at Stylmark, Inc., a privately-held manufacturer of high-end metal fixtures and components for the retail and hospitality industries. Prior to this, Glenn held sales executive positions at Carlson Marketing Group, where he focused on sales force development and customer information systems, and at Apogee Enterprises, Inc., where he was VP of Sales for the Harmon subsidiary.
Prior to these experiences, Glenn enjoyed a lengthy career as VP of Human Resources at Moore Graphic Services/Moore Data Management Services, where he developed expertise in employee motivation, recognition and retention.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College.
